Q.
Hi Dr. I just got it a crow on my front thoot. My question is, that my natural color theet is kind trasnsparent white,we tried 2 shades..like A2 and which was kind yellow color. Then the Dr. order another shade B1,which is very white , not transparent. The Dr, said there is not a perfect match, now I have to live with this, and anyone can tell the diference.I am really embaressed…There is anything I can do, to make my theet shade look more even?

Can i know the benefits and problems of veneers and crowns?

Tuesday, September 1st, 2009
Q.
I am considering getting my four front teeth either crowned or have veneer on them. I would like to know the benefits and/or problems with both of these. I have had crowns before and never had a problem, but I understand that veneers are a bit more pricey and painful. Are they both comparable when it comes to wear, etc?

What sort of dentures are available at NHS?

Tuesday, September 1st, 2009
Q.
Hi I have recently been to my dentist and have been told I need an extraction and a denture put in its place. I have been charged £198 on the NHS for this. My question is what sort of denture will I be receiving? I was very nervous and too embarrassed to ask at the time. It is just one of the lower front teeth that needs replacing. I hope you can help.

Should i get my teeth removed?

Tuesday, September 1st, 2009
Q.
Hi i’m 15 years old and i don’t live in uk (i’m a student studying in sri lanka) but please do answer my questions :) i’ve been visiting so many dentists and orthodontist for consultations on braces and all of them tells me that i need to extract 4 teeth if i wanted to get braces done.. well..i don’t want to remove any teeth but.. my front teeth are front and they slightly overlap and i’ve got an extra tooth on the bottom..other teeth are quite straight and they don’t look crooked and they (dentists and orthodontists also said that too) they say that i have approximately 8~10mm of space when i bite my teeth together and that my teeth are crowded.. would i really have to get my 4 teeth removed?
