I had my permanent veneers cemented and i am not happy with it, am I stuck with this now?

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009
Q.
Hi had my permanent veneers cemented on yesterday, and i am having panic attacks because i am so upset. i have an appointment in a few days but until then i need advice!!! i have read on the internet that once done they cannot be adjusted. the length of the veeners is digging into my lower lip and causing sores all across the lower lip. also it is hard to relax my jaw when looking down reading becuase the top teeth are holding the bottom teeth back. and the they clank together on the inside of the upper teeth when i bite down,, as if the bite is too close and to tight between the uppers and lowers. i am in so much discomfort that i can not stand it. is it true that i am stuck with this now??

What can i do to stop sucking my tongue do you have any suggestion?

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009
Q.
I’ve been sucking my tongue for years now and I’m 32 years of age. I have tried stopping but it’s done subcontiously (ms) because I do it in my sleep. Sometimes, I do it when I’m really tired. I was wondering what can I do to prevent sucking my tongue. I’m going to get braces, but there is no point if I can’t stop sucking my tongue. I’ve heard about different plates/guards that can prevent me from tongue sucking. I would like to get one but unsure which one is best for me. I don’t want to get the one that I will have to wear 24hrs for a year. Do you have any suggestions???

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009
Q.
Hello I wonder if you could help. I am extremely unhappy with my ‘fangs’ and would like to find out if there is something that could be done cheaply. They are very large and sharp and completely ruin my smile. This is seriously knocking my confidence. Please help! Thanks
