I have very overcrowded bottom incisors

Monday, February 2nd, 2009
Q.
Hi, I have very overcrowded bottom incisors (two teeth very rotated) and recently visited a cosmetic dentist who advised making an appointment with orthodontist. Visited orthodontist last week who suggested removal of one lower incisor and then brace to correct (some minor gum recession on tooth he wishes to remove). However, I cannot find much information on being left with three lower incisiors but have read this can increase overbite and I already have a moderate overbite. Would really like to sort this out – any advice on whether you feel this is a good option or alternative treatments? Been advised not suitable for veneers due to lack of space. Thanks,

I am thinking of having an Inman Alligner

Monday, February 2nd, 2009
Q.
Hello! I am thinking of having an Inman Alligner fitted as my bottom teeth have gone a bit crooked with age. I’m in my mid-50s. Once fitted, will I be able to remove it myself if I need to. The reason I ask is that I’m a bit afraid that I will panic if I can’t remove it until the dentist does this. As long as I know I can I will be ok. Secondly, the local dentist that does the Inman is not my usual dentist. Will I still be able to go back to my own dentist once this treatment is complete? Thanks for your help.

my white fillings do not match my natural tooth colour

Monday, February 2nd, 2009
Q.
I hav just got some white fillings and they do not look like the natural tooth or how they are suppose to look. I am not happy with the way they have turned out. How do I sort this out with my dentist or do I go to someone else?
