I used to have a brace and my teeth became straight, but have now become wonky again. I wanted to have veneers on my two front wonky teeth but the dentist told me, because genetically my teeth are wonky, even vaneers will move and become wonky. Is this true?

Hi There Dr. Suri, How do temporaries fit onto your teeth, I know that they are probably attached all together and not separate. I am wearing temporaries now but can’t tell if my own teeth has been slotted into a space…sort of like a mouth guard. they do feel that this may be the case as the underneath of the top teeth feels very high and my mouth does not relax totaly when I close it.? I am 28 years old and in need of orthodontic treatment to correct overcrowding of teeth in my upper jaw (due to a narrow arch). Because of my age (and the social stigma of traditional braces) I am looking for a subtle treatment that is also as quick as possible – I am not looking for a “Hollywood Smile” just the confidence to smile that I haven’t had for a decade. I do not have the budget to spend more than about £3,000. I read about the “6 month smile” treatment on www.cosmeticdentistryguide.co.uk and yours is the only UK clinic listed as providing the service. Have had a “knot” in my upper gum

Have had a “knot” in my upper gum around tooth #2 and #3 for almost 2 years. Dentist said nothing to worry about. Now after reg. Dr. said to have CT scan of this “cyst” it was found to be an abscess at the root of an old root canal. This infection has been here for 2 years….could this explain chronic fatigue, and stomach conditions with this untreated infection in body? Also endodotist now says he can do apicoectomy, but I’m wondering if at this point if an extraction may be best. Why is it so important to “keep this tooth if at all possible” if I can always get a bridge or implant later? Please advise… sooo tired mom.

is there a difference between invisalign and clearstep

Hi, I have a large gap between my two front teeth which I am looking to close. I have looked at the available options and would like to go for a clear brace. Is there any significant difference between clearstep and invisalign? Or would one treatment suit my requirements better? Could you give me a guideline for the price I should aim to pay? Can you recommend a dentist in the Plymouth area? Or can you offer any advice for choosing the best one. Many thanks
