Dr Mitra Najafi

As soon as you meet Mitra her calm professional manor fills you with confidence. It's obvious she really cares about her patients, every sentence she speaks enforces that, "I aim to bring affordable high quality dental care to all of my patients. Nearly every day I see the huge transformation in confidence that good dental care can bring". The other day she told me she had shown a guy his new smile in a mirror and he was so choked up he could hardly speak. Mitra admitted even after this many years I had to take a big gulp myself, as I was so happy for him.

Qualifications:

- Qualified 1994 Gutenberg, Sweden.

- Post Grad. Diploma in advance root canal treatment from Eastman Dental School in London.

- Diploma in Acupuncture, Sheffield Hospital.

- Diploma in Laser Dentistry from Munich, Germany using Lasers for both hard and soft tissue procedures

- Advance training in Cerec

- Also specialising in non-surgical anti-ageing treatments

- Dr Najafi's practise is Dental phobia certified.She works closely with a team of Consultant Anaesthetists who can offer Sedation to her very nervous patients in her Clinic, Stardent.

As well as running her own private practise in Southampton, Dr Najafi also works for Transform Cosmetic Clinic (UK's leading cosmetic surgery group) as a non surgical anti-ageing consultant.

Awarded for UK’s Best Patient Care 2005 and 2006 by the Private Dentistry Awards.
