Dentinal Tubules

Dentin contains many microscopic channels, which are known as dentinal tubules. These tubules stem from the pulp, where the nerve activity is most concentrated outwards, through the dentin towards the cementum and enamel borders. The tubules contain cellular structures and fluid.
