Cuspid

Cuspid teeth, also known as eye teeth and canines, are the smaller, more pointed teeth located between the incisors and the premolar (bicuspid) teeth. Adults usually have 4 cuspid teeth; these are located on the top and bottom dental arches with one each side of the incisors. The primary function of the cuspids is to tear and rip food. The cuspids also help to guide the teeth and jaws into the correct position.
