Bicuspids

The bicuspid teeth are also known as the premolars. The premolars have two cusps, hence they are known as the bicuspid teeth. Each adult normally has a total of eight premolars; they are situated between the canines and the molars on the superior (top) and inferior (bottom) dental arches. Bicuspid teeth are specially designed to help the molars with grinding and chewing food.
