Arch

The dental arch is the curved shaped formation formed by the top (maxillary) and bottom (mandibular) teeth. The superior dental arch is formed by the top teeth, while the inferior arch is formed by the bottom teeth. The superior arch is commonly slightly bigger than the inferior arch so that the top teeth slightly overlap the bottom teeth.
